This is a basic scuba diving certification course designed for beginners who want to experience the underwater world safely and confidently.
Upon completion, you will be certified to dive to a maximum depth of 12 meters (40 feet), always under the direct supervision of a certified professional.
To earn this certification, participants must complete the following requirements:
1. Study the firsts chapters of the Open Water Diver material (book or e-Learning), which cover essential dive theory, safety procedures, and equipment knowledge;
2. Successfully perform Confined Water Dives 1, 2, and 3, where you’ll learn and practice fundamental scuba skills in a controlled environment such as a pool or shallow water area; and,
3. Complete two Open Water Dives in the ocean, applying your knowledge and skills in real diving conditions.
This course is ideal for those who want to get started with scuba diving in a safe and structured way, without committing to the full Open Water Diver certification. It’s also a great stepping stone toward becoming a fully certified diver.
If desired, this certification can later be upgraded to the full Open Water Diver level by completing the remaining theory chapters, confined water training, and two additional open water dives.
