Scattered along the beautiful Mayan Riviera lie four fascinating shipwrecks—silent giants resting on the ocean floor, each with its own story and ecosystem.
Exploring these wrecks is one of the most breathtaking and awe-inspiring experiences a diver can have, blending adventure, history, and marine life all in one dive.
In the Wreck Diver Specialty course, you’ll have the chance to dive and examine at least one of these incredible sites up close, while learning the essential techniques that make wreck diving safe, respectful, and unforgettable. You’ll practice proper navigation and buoyancy control around confined spaces, learn how to identify and avoid potential hazards such as sharp edges or entanglement risks, and gain an appreciation for how these sunken structures have transformed into thriving artificial reefs that play an important role in local marine biodiversity.
This course combines theory with hands-on experience, equipping you with the skills to dive wrecks confidently and responsibly—opening the door to a whole new world of underwater exploration.
