Take Your Diving to the Next Level Advanced Open Water Certification + Bull Shark Encounter
Ready to level up your diving skills and come face-to-face with one of the ocean’s most powerful creatures? This combo gives you the chance to earn your Advanced Open Water Certification — and finish with an unforgettable Bull Shark dive in their natural habitat. What’s the Advanced Open Water Certification All About? This course is all about building confidence and experience underwater through five adventure dives. Two are required — Deep Dive and Underwater Navigation — but the other three are totally up to you! We offer over ten options, but some of our favorites (and highly recommended!) include: Night Dive, Wreck Dive, Fish ID, Underwater Naturalist and Peak Performance Buoyancy.
How It Works – Step by Step: 1. Complete the Theory. You’ll start with a manual or online learning to explore advanced topics like dive planning, deep diving, underwater navigation, and marine awareness; 2. Pick Your Adventure Dives. You’ll choose five in total 2 mandatory Deep Dive (up to 30m/100ft) and Underwater navigation and 3 of your choice based on what excites you most; 3. Dive, Dive, Dive! Head out with a certified instructor to complete your adventure dives. You’ll learn new techniques, explore new environments, and build your confidence with every descent; 4. Post-Dive Reviews after each dive, we’ll go over what you experienced, learned, and how to improve even more. It’s all about making you a safer, smarter diver; 5. Finish Strong pass a few quick knowledge checks — and just like that, you’ll be a certified Advanced Open Water Diver!
Bonus Dive: Bull Shark Encounter (Seasonal) Once certified, you’re ready for the ultimate adrenaline rush — a Bull Shark Dive! We’ll head to a special site where bull sharks gather between mid-November and late February. You’ll dive to around 80 ft / 25 m for the chance to observe these majestic creatures up close, with no feeding involved — just you, the sharks, and your camera. Pro tip: Bring your underwater camera for some truly epic shots!
