Scuba diving offers a unique blend of serenity and adventure — from peaceful underwater landscapes to exciting new challenges. As an Open Water Diver, you’ll gain the skills and confidence to dive independently with a certified buddy, without the need for professional supervision, at dive sites you know and are qualified for. You’ll also be able to join professional dive teams to explore new dive locations around the world. To earn this internationally recognized certification, you must complete the following:
1. Read the full Open Water Diver manual or e-Learning and pass a final test.
2. Successfully perform Confined Water training, where you’ll learn and practice key scuba skills in a controlled environment.
3. Complete four Open Water Dives, applying your skills in real-world ocean conditions under professional supervision.
