You’ll earn two internationally recognized certifications: Open Water Diver – Your license to explore the underwater world and Enriched Air Diver (Nitrox) – Dive longer, safer, and smarter! Here’s what’s included and how it works:
Open Water Diver certification. Your adventure starts with the basics – learning the theory, practicing skills, and exploring the ocean on your first real dives:
1. Dive Theory Made Simple. You’ll complete the knowledge portion by reading the course manual or doing the e-learning. We’ll cover diving principles, safety procedures, and how to use your equipment. On day one, you’ll also join a hands-on classroom session to learn how to assemble and disassemble your SCUBA gear
2. Shallow Water Training. Next, it’s time to get wet! You’ll practice essential diving skills in a pool or shallow water area under the close guidance of your instructor
3. Open Water Dives (4 Total). Once you’re confident in the basics, you’ll complete four open water dives to apply what you’ve learned – all in a safe, supervised environment
4. Pass the Final Exam to finish the course. You’ll take a final test and review quizzes to make sure you’re ready for open water adventures. Complete all the steps and you’ll officially become a certified Open Water Diver – welcome to the world beneath the waves!
Enriched Air (Nitrox) certification. Add a new skill to your dive log! With Enriched Air, you can extend your bottom time and reduce nitrogen load, making your dives even more enjoyable:
1. Quick and Easy Theory. In just about 2 hours, you’ll complete a classroom session and review key topics, including: * Benefits and risks of diving with Nitrox *Oxygen exposure and Maximum Operating Depth (MOD) *Gas analysis and essential equipment considerations
2. Equipment Know-How. You’ll learn how to handle Enriched Air tanks, understand oxygen-clean procedures, and identify proper tank labeling.
3. Hands-On Practice time to get practical! You’ll analyze Nitrox tanks and set up your gear for enriched air diving.
4. Certification Time! Once you’ve completed the class and practical components, you’ll earn your **Enriched Air Diver certification**.
5. Dive with Confidence. You’ll put your new knowledge to use by planning and completing two of your Open Water dives using Enriched Air.
